ABOUT

I am Wang Jia Ming (汪佳明, Wāng Jiāmíng), a Chinese language teacher from Jiangsu Province, mainland China.

Ever since I was young, I have been fascinated by the beauty, depth, and history of Chinese culture (中国文化). Growing up surrounded by stories of ancient traditions, poetry, and language, I developed a lifelong passion for sharing this richness with others.

Teaching Mandarin Chinese (普通话/中文) has been my true calling. Over the years, I have had the privilege of guiding students from all over the world, helping them not only learn words and grammar but also understand the culture, history, and way of thinking behind the language. I believe that learning Mandarin is not just about memorizing characters or phrases, it’s about experiencing a whole new way of seeing the world.

In addition to teaching, I have dedicated myself to writing books and creating structured learning resources for learners at every level. Writing allows me to reach students far beyond the classroom and provide lessons that are clear, practical, and easy to follow.

I have just published my first book for learning Chinese: Chinese Abbreviation. Check out more on my Amazon home page. 🙂

My goal is to make learning Mandarin accessible and enjoyable, whether you are a complete beginner or someone looking to deepen your understanding of Chinese culture.

  1. Hello Wang Jia Ming, I have started learning Mandarin with some of your study materials. I notice the topic missing is travelling. If you make set of topics such as travelling in China. Food, accommodation, booking, traveling via, airline, trains, bus, taxi, cycling, monetary payment vs electronic payment, dining, direction… As a solo traveller, it’s challenging yet satisfying to experience planning and executing travel plans beyond comfort zone to one’s lingua franca. I have looked but don’t seem to finf materials covered by anyone. A huge potential for future travelers to China when we are all ready to travel. Thanks Iann.

    1. Thank you very much for the feedback. I will consider posting some articles, and publishing books about travelling to China. I am glad you are enjoying learning Mandarin. Best wishes. And welcome to explore China.
