Chinese writing is a very important part of learning Mandarin Chinese language. The more you write, the better you can understand the Chinese characters. In particular, writing Chinese characters will tremendously help you remember those characters. Since many characters look similar, writing is a great way to understand the differences among the confusing characters. Not to mention, writing practice will also help improve reading abilities.
