How to Say “Sure” in Chinese?

#1 Sure (确定, què dìng)

  1. I’m sure (Wǒ quèdìng, 我确定)
  2. I’m sure it’s this password (Wǒ quèdìng shì zhè ge mìmǎ, 我确定是这个密码)
  3. I’m not sure (wǒ bú quèdìng, 我不确定)
  4. I’m not sure if this news is real or not (Wǒ bú quèdìng zhè ge xīnwén shì bu shì zhēn de, 我不确定这个新闻是不是真的)
  5. Are you sure? You really won’t come? (Nǐ quèdìng ma? Nǐ zhēnde bù lái, 你确定吗?你真的不来)
Sure can be expressed with 确定 (què dìng).

Q: Would you like to join us? (Nǐ yào jiārù wǒmen ma, 你要加入我们吗)
A: Sure! (Dāngrán, 当然)

A: Sure! (Dāngrán, 当然)

#3 Sure (Méi wèntí, 没问题)

Q: Would you like to join us? (Nǐ yào jiārù wǒmen ma, 你要加入我们吗)
B: Sure! (Méi wèntí, 没问题)

Q: Are you coming tomorrow? (Míngtiān nǐ lái ma, 明天你来吗)
B: Sure! (Méi wèntí, 没问题)
